Code Connect '26 is a student-led technology and career event founded at the Department of Computer Science, UBIT, University of Karachi, bringing together students, academia, and industry under one platform.

Built around the idea of competition, connection, and opportunity, the event creates an environment where students can put their skills to the test, learn from industry professionals, explore career opportunities, and connect with people shaping the technology landscape.

At the heart of Code Connect '26 is a competitive technology arena, bringing together students from different universities to participate in coding and problem-solving challenges. From thinking under pressure to building practical solutions, the competition is designed to celebrate technical ability, creativity, teamwork, and the spirit of healthy competition.

But Code Connect '26 goes beyond the competition.

Through Career Connect, the event opens its doors to the industry — bringing together technology companies, recruiters, professionals, and students through job-fair opportunities, career sessions, industry talks, networking, and direct interaction with potential employers. It is a space for students to discover what comes after university and for companies to meet the next generation of technology talent.

The event is organised by final-year students and society Presidents Aliza Khan and Ashhad Ahmed Siddiqi, with the support of the Department of Computer Science, UBIT, under the supervision and guidance of Dr. S. M. Khalid Jamal and Humera Bashir.

Code Connect '26 is more than an event — it is a meeting point for ideas, talent, technology, and opportunity. A place to compete, connect, learn, and take the next step toward the future.
